Some previous Ashley Sleep mattresses contained fiberglass. Fiberglass is a durable fire barrier commonly used in the furniture industry. Our current Ashley Sleep mattresses, including the Gruve, Align, Chime, and Essentials collections, do not contain fiberglass.

Today, you'll find fiberglass-free hybrid, innerspring, memory foam, and gel options to meet your sleep preferences. The body of the most recent Ashley Sleep mattresses is made with polyester and other durable synthetic fibers. Here are some common materials you'll find:
